Originally released by the Music West record label, Inner Rhythms was the first Mazer & Smith duo album. It was preceded by Susan's solo album, The Fire in the Rose, on which Dallas was an accompanying musician. The Inner Rhythms LP was mastered in Los Angeles by legendary album mastering engineer Doug Sax.
