Songs in the Key of L'Chaim
CD $15
Ose Shalom track

  Rachel Mazer
Special guest vocalist
This CD is fulfillment of a promise to family and friends to capture the essence of Jewish music as Susan Mazer and Dallas Smith have been performing for so many years. While not the major focus of their many recordings and compositions, the Klezmer style always manages to penetrate their repertoire within concerts for their family and in services for many varied churches, including Catholic, Buddhist, and Synagogues. It is clear in listening to authentic Klezmer recordings, that while Susan and Dallas do not play Klezmer in the traditional style, they perform it in their own unique style and capture a hint of what Jewish music is in their own aesthetic.
